California Dreamin' - The Coast Ride Day

"The Coast Ride" Day

From our very exclusive home base in Buena Park this days ride will first take us to beautiful outer Orange County and to a very popular local riding area- Santiago Canyon. You will see for yourself why the local riders can't get enough of this beautiful area located out  and away from the city. We ride through beautiful Limestone Canyon Park and Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park as we wind our way down the road and end up at  Cook's Corner! -http://www.cookscorners.com/- Undeniably the #1 Biker hot spot in Orange County! On week ends it's hard to find a place to even park you motorcycle here!

After our visit to Cook's Corner we will follow El Toro road out of the canyons and toward the coast. We'll pass Lake Forest and the retirement community of Laguna Woods. At Hwy 133 we go south, skirting the Laguna Coast Wilderness Park, and ending at the Pacific Ocean in gorgeous Laguna Beach! - http://www.lagunabeach.com/- Just north of here I will guide you to a wonderful look out point where you see the Laguna coastline from the bluffs above. You'll want to take many pictures here! Next we venture through the very exclusive Crystal Cove Coastline- a beachfront home here would be quite pricey! Watch next on the right for "Fashion Island" - http://www.shopfashionisland.com/- very expensive shopping area- movie stars are seen here often shopping! Not far from here we will all ferry our bikes across Newport Harbor and end up at the Balboa Fun Zone - http://www.balboaisland.com/- where we join Pacific Coast Highway ( Hwy #1) north to Newport. We really should cruise the Newport Pier and check out the beach scene here.

Next experience "Surf City U.S.A." - http://www.surfcityusa.com/- from the seat of your Harley. Huntington Beach- home of the Beach Boys and surf capital of the world! Just north from here we will visit "Mothers" in Sunset Beach. Oldest biker bar around and 2nd home to all bikers everywhere. Still cruising through beachside towns like Surfside, Seal Beach, and finding Long Beach just ahead. Here we will visit the incredible Queen Mary! -http://www.queenmary.com/default.aspx -This fantastic ship has adopted Long Beach as it's Home. On board a VIP Guided Tour will be offered to our guests or you can explore the beauty and wonder of this ship from another era on your own. Is she really haunted? See for yourself the WW2 Museum area that preserves an area  when this grand ship served her duty as a Medical Ship in that war. Many shops and several restaurants are on board the Queen Mary for your enjoyment. Also, resting peaceably next to the Queen Mary, is a genuine Russian Submarine for your exploring. For a small fee you can go inside the Sub yourself and see what living conditions are like on such a boat.

Several more surprises will be along the way as we wind our way back to Buena Park from here.  After returning to our plush headquarters in Buena Park. Relax around the outside fire pit and talk about the days adventure, or head out into the marvels of the Southern California nightlife- it too has much to offer. But be ready for tomorrow- for there will be a new day of Adventure to live!
