California Dreamin' - Final Day

The final day of the California Dreamin' VIP Tour will have plenty of Horsepower and Fun. We begin with a crisp morning ride up the Orange freeway a short distance to Brea, California.
Here we will travel east on State Route 142, also known as Carbon Canyon Road. This delightful riding road will lead us through Olinda Village before crossing into the "Sleepy Hollow" area of Chino Hills. Just north of Chino Hills we will arrive at La Verne, California. On this day, in the "Old Town" section of this charming little Route 66 community, we will experience one of the most anticipated events of the year-The Cool Cruise- http://coolcruise.net/ ! In true old Route 66 tradition we will get up close with nearly 1000 exceptional quality Custom Cars, Hot Rods, Cool Trucks, Amazing Muscle cars- as well as some mighty fine motorcycles. (See last years photos here)- http://www.hotrodhotline.com/feature/2011show/laverne_cool_cruise_2011_roger/index.php
This show is one of Southern California's Premier Hot Rod Events and we will be there for the opening ceremonies when about a dozen extreme vehicles parade 4 blocks with open headers and blown engines! It's gonna be LOUD! We'll have a couple of hours to check out the action  before we continue on our way. Our plan will now take us on some of the old Route 66 road through San Dimas, Glendora, Azusa and Monrovia. In Pasadena we can cruise the Colorado Boulevard- home to the sensational Tournament of Roses Parade each New Years Day. From here we will join Highway 2 all the way back to the Pacific Ocean getting one more view of the spectacular Los Angeles skyline, before ending at the Santa Monica Pier. See for yourself the celebrated "end of the  trail" located on the pier. We'll have a little fun here before returning our motorcycles just down the road a few miles at Marina Del Rey and Route 66 Riders- http://www.route66riders.com/ .  At the close of this day we will all enjoy each others company at a farewell diner located at our Los Angeles Hotel.
